Community Volunteering During Your Training

Our Omega Leo Medical Explorerer are involved with many community service opportunities. The skills you are acquiring will be welcome in many volunteer groups in San Marcos. Keep in mind the following:

 

 

Volunteering During Your Training

Become a good time-manager. Balance academics with the many volunteer opportunities available in San Marcos. Your courses should always come first. Remember your goal of becoming a health professional. 

Consider the FEMA/CERT course G-317 Introduction to CERT. This course is required if you aspire to be a Crew Chief for a Medical Explorer CERT crew during a football game or Wimberley Market Day.
