Computer Science Students Win Google Maps Platform Award
Texas State University Computer Science students Meidad Troper, Kelvin Mathew, and Vaidic Soni  participated in a hackathon hosted by Google, titled “Google Maps Platform Awards”, alongside almost 4000 other participating teams, and were chosen as one of the 16 winners worldwide. Their project was recognized for its innovation, creativity, design, accessibility and scalability. The students acknowledged Associate Professor of Practice in Computer Science, Dr. Ted Lehr, for his mentorship. Further details about their project may be found at here.
