Academic Warning
Students whose TXST GPA has initially fallen below 2.00 are placed on Academic Warning and must raise their TXST GPA to 2.00 or higher to return to good academic standing.
Students on Academic Warning have one semester (fall or spring terms) to raise their Texas State GPA to a 2.00 or higher.
- If your TXST GPA is 2.0 or higher by the end of the next long semester, you will return to good academic standing. Students in good standing may continue to attend Texas State.
- If your TXST GPA is below 2.0 at the end of the next long semester, you will be placed on Academic Probation. Students on academic probation are permitted to continue to attend Texas State.
